Aromatherapy For Stress-free Acne






Aromatherapy is a great way to clear the mind and body of stress. Aromatic substances like essential oils have therapeutic or medicinal properties that can be used for holistic healing encompassing the whole body, mind and spirit.







Stress is one factor that can lead to acne. If you already have clogged pores, stress causes an inflammatory response in the body that can cause the walls of these pores to break. When this happens, the body responds with redness around the broken pore, and forms zits.



Using essential oils, there are many ways to create an aromatherapy stress-free environment. For example, lavender is a great essential oil for stress since it contains sedative properties that will help ease your stress and anxiety. One way to use oils is to draw a bath and drop your preferred oil directly into the water and soak in it.



The most common way aromatherapy can be done is by doing candle meditation. Getting an all natural soy candle, laced with essential oil for whatever stresses or ails you, you sit in a meditative position and allow the aromatic scent to take over. You can also use an oil burner if for whatever reason you do not like candles. This is a sure way to de-stress yourself for a healthier you, and to develop a clearer mind, soul, and body.
