Tea Tree Oil For Acne Pimples

In order to think about healing your acne scars, you must first cure your acne. One of the worst things is feeling the presence of an acne bump underneath the skin just waiting to make its appearance onto your skin. Well, if you want a natural way to cure acne, than tea tree oil is your new best friend.

Tea tree oil is an effective natural treatment for people who are fighting the signs of acne on their skin. Tea tree oil is made naturally from the Melaleuca alternifolia plant and while it’s not safe for consumption, it’s perfectly safe to use on the skin and is non-carcinogenic.

Possessing antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, tea tree oil will kill the bacteria living in your skin, help to heal your pimples so your skin returns to a healthy condition, and help to prevent future outbreaks. Besides having disinfectant properties, tea tree oil can also have soothing properties, which is essential when your skin has the burning and itching of an acne flare-up.

How to Apply:

Tea tree oil is an excellent skin treatment especially for oily and acne-prone skin. Like most essential oils the best tea tree oil should be 100% pure, unrefined, and chemical-free. There are many effective ways you can use tea tree oil to cure your acne breakouts. One way is to apply tea tree oil on a cotton bud and directly press it against the acne spot. You can do this and leave overnight which is a sure way to reduce redness and swelling. If you have sensitive skin then I would suggest diluting the tea tree oil with a little water and then apply.

If you suffer from acne on your chest or other body parts, you can also add a drop or two to your bath water to help you get rid of acne. Look below for more ways to use tea tree oil for acne treatment.
